One of my major life goals has always been the pursuit of discovering something that I am passionate about. Occasionally, my sister and I would talk about and think up new business ideas; then we’d try to implement them. At the time I didn’t realize all that consistent pursuit of my dream passion would soon become a reality. I started experimenting in the kitchen and I found myself enjoying figuring out what a great cake should taste like, but I also enjoyed the creative art of decorating cakes into perfection.

I soon began to spend my time working as a Hydrogeologist by day whilst honing my baking skills at night. What began as a hobby of baking cakes for friends soon became a side hustle of making treats for acquaintances and at times total strangers who received glowing recommendations from my friends and family. Eventually what began as a hobby transformed into a full-time job and a sustainable business. In 2021, I decided to expand my craft and officially trade as an online business, baking cakes and selling decorating supplies.

I am a firm believer that when you are hosting friends and family for a celebration or function the entire event must be decadent from the welcome drinks all the way to dessert and of course, the dessert should always be cake!
